Zeotein Cacao vs. Zeotein Vegan: Which Blend Fits You
Share
Zeotein makes two blends. They share a philosophy and differ on the thing that matters most: where the protein comes from.
Zeotein Cacao, six ingredients
- Grass-fed bone broth protein
- Grass-fed collagen peptides
- Organic fermented cacao
- Organic MCT oil powder
- Organic sea moss
- Zeolite mineral, a naturally occurring volcanic mineral
This is the original blend and the one most people start with. The protein is animal-sourced, which brings collagen along with it: the amino acids that support hair, skin, nails and joints.†
Dairy free and gluten free, because the protein is beef-derived rather than whey.
Zeotein Vegan, five ingredients
Built on organic hemp protein and organic pumpkin seed protein. Plant-sourced throughout, so there is no collagen in it. Collagen is an animal protein by definition, and any product claiming vegan collagen is selling something else.
The hemp is sourced through Wilderness Poets in Oregon and grown in China. That is stated plainly rather than buried.
Which one fits
Choose Cacao if you eat animal products, you want the collagen in the same serving, and a deep chocolate profile is what you are after.
Choose Vegan if you eat plant-based, or dairy and beef are both off the table for you.
Both blends are gluten free and dairy free. Both ship with the Zeotein Starter Guide, the Cacao Recipe Guide and the Vegan Recipe Guide.
What they share
The short list is the point in both. Every ingredient is named on the label. Zero sugar in both bags, so the sweetening decision stays yours.
Both mix two scoops, one serving, into 10 to 12 ounces of liquid.
Can you run both
Yes, and plenty of people do, alternating by day or keeping the Vegan bag for when they are eating lighter. There is no cap on how often either blend fits into your routine.
